Noah Seitz, Cello

Born and raised in Corvallis, Noah Seitz earned a bachelor’s degree in Cello Performance at the UMKC Conservatory of Music in 2001. He then returned to Oregon as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the University of Oregon. In addition to maintaining private teaching studios in Keizer and Corvallis, he is Instructor of Cello at Pacific and Linfield Universities, and the Corvallis Waldorf School. He is a member of the Eugene Symphony, the Oregon Mozart Players and Orchestra Next. He regularly performs with the Corvallis-OSU Symphony, Eugene Opera, and has performed as soloist with orchestras throughout the Willamette valley. He serves as President of the Board for Camerata Musica chamber music series in Salem, and is Artistic Director of the Chintimini Chamber Music Festival in Corvallis. He resides in Keizer, Oregon with his wife Sara, as freshly minted empty nesters. They are ridiculously proud of their two daughters, and these days, spend time with their two dogs, a cat, five chickens, and a wonderful garden. Beyond music, Noah loves soccer, holds a Private Pilot License, and is a fanatic about anything aviation related
