“Dancing to live music is incredible,” Kosterman said. “It’s so different than dancing to a CD — it brings a whole other element to the production, and it’s definitely a give and take between the conductor and the dancer, and listening and following and leading. It’s really fun.”
Orchestra Next is lead by Brian McWhorter, who founded the orchestra as a training ground for aspiring professional musicians to play alongside professionals in a high-caliber, demanding environment like back-to-back ballet performances.
